Together they founded Cedar Creek Homes in 2007, with a passion for quality and a desire to provide a exceptional building experience for their clients in Southwest Colorado.

They both grew up in the Midwest, and after getting married in 2001, they moved west to pursue a life in the mountains.

Kris earned a bachelor’s degree from Central Michigan University. He has years of construction experience and expertise. He has worked in various locations including Telluride, CO, Fredericksburg, TX, and more. His passion for the mountains drove him to settle in Pagosa Springs and bring his experience and knowledge to the town. When Kris is not with clients or working on a job site he enjoys running, mountain biking, backpacking, rock climbing, and snowboarding.

Sarah also earned a bachelor’s degree from Central Michigan University. She serves as the office manager for Cedar Creek Homes. With a love for the Arts, she enjoys dabbling in design. When Sarah is not busy at the computer, doing interior design, or working on the job site herself, she enjoys ballet, snowboarding, rock climbing, backpacking and sewing.
